Strong-hearted stories, dark & funny

48. WRITING THE CHILD CEPHALINA

March 31st 2017:- Today was a good day, I wrote fluently throughout most of the day until 4pm. The writing flowed, it hadn’t been doing that for a while. I don’t know what changed, but I woke up in an odd emotional mood. Perhaps I’d dreamt something weird that I couldn’t remember, but I was fragile all day. But the work that I covered in the story was very central and pivotal in the plot, and although I might edit it, I know that the tone and pulse of the thing is right. So although I am tired, and longing to sit in my hammock that I can see from my study window here, I am glad I kept going.
